Marco Pierre White, the legendary chef from Britain, is here in Delhi’s DLF Avenue, Saket, February 15 and 16, as part of the very interesting and premium gourmet festival that is making its debut here in Season 5, of Gold Rush’s WOAP (World On A Plate).
“Indian cooking is underrated on the world stage. It should be among the finest cuisines in the world because of its spices and the way to use spices that are extraordinary and I can say this for myself, it’s the only country in the world where I’ve never ever had a bad meal. India gave me more than I gave India,” was what he had to say, about his Incredible India experience.
Not only as a path-breaking chef, Marco’s personal journey has been of immense interest to the media and public abroad which will soon be documented in a film, starring Russel Crowe, in and as Marco.
India’s largest gourmet festival will have Marco celebrating the best of local and global creators of cuisines that can be sampled by visitors there and also the top sixteen restaurants in the city, vying for the highly coveted WOAP Restaurant Of The Year Award, 2020.
He will also be recreating his signature dishes in the exclusive Würfel kitchen for the first time ever. The celebrity chef is not just the awardee of 3 Michelin stars but also called the ‘Godfather of Modern Cooking’, having mentored the likes of Gordon Ramsay , Shannon Bennet , Curtis Stone, etc. and will be curating exquisite dinners and masterclasses all on the exclusive Würfel Sicis Glass kitchen which is all about the elegance and magic of glass with timeless gems and Vetrite Glass finish.
The WOAP weekend event begins tomorrow, February 15 and continues till Feb 16, at DLF Avenue, Saket, from 10 am to 9.30 pm. Entry is via tickets.
