Love Aaj Kal 2
Starring the daughter, Sara Ali Khan of the original hero of the first part, Saif, this film is a disaster. If you can sit through the first one hour of the film, maybe you’re made of sterner stuff. I couldn’t bear the first half hour. Avoid.
Saif Ali Khan in a ludicrous role as a 40 plus single man, who loves his singlehood status and is out partying every night, with different girls with different degrees of hotness. A measly 4 out of 10 for his efforts.
Surprisingly his co-star, teenager Alaya Furniturewala, daughter of the bold and beautiful but not commercially successful Pooja Bedi, wins our hearts with her effortless, mature and confident act. Her presence makes this otherwise average film, a bit of fun. She’s good. Sparkles in all the right places; has a profound bit of calm in her. Going to go places. Watch this for her. Good job, Alaya!
